Kinderdance® programs have been delighting young children in Manhattan and the Bronx  since 1996!  Although the music has gone from cassette tapes to ipods, the developmental needs of young children stays the same.  Kinderdance® helps achieve developmental physical and mental milestones thorough dance, movement and fitness programs specifically designed for young children. Exemplary instructors, engaging activities and a curriculum with a blend of physical skills and educational concepts  - Kinderdance®!

The carefully researched programs have expanded over the last 20 years to fill the needs and interests of children ages 15 months to 12 years. Kinderdance® programs have been offered in public schools, private schools, playrooms and in schools for children with special needs. Kinderdance® has been teaching children around the world for more than thirty years. Featured in USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, Dance Teacher Magazine and Early Childhood News, Kinderdance is the original dance, gymnastics, creative movement and motor development program. 
             The Kinderdance® developmental curriculum was created by Carol Kay Harsell. Ms. Harsell's vast experience in dance and education include an MA in Physical Education with emphasis in Adapted Physical Education and Dance, BA in Psychology and BA in Dance. Ms. Harsell is a published author and has conducted extensive research in early childhood education and communication through dance. She established the American Academy of Dance in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1979 where the Kinderdance program was first conceived.
